A secondary school photo? University graduation? Maybe a family portrait with your parents?

Or perhaps it was a group shot at a wedding you attended recently.

Let's face it, not many people have a proper professional photoshoot unless they are a model, an actor or alike. The majority of people don't feel very comfortable being in front of a camera.

That's where I come in. I've had a lot of experience getting people, just like you, to relax in front of my camera and be themselves, so they can get on with enjoying their day, and I can get those amazing natural looking shots.

When was the last time you had professional photos taken of you?

Having shot so many weddings over the years, I have come to realise that a "trial run" is definitely the way to go when it comes to feeling relaxed and laid-back in front of the camera.

I usually give my clients simple prompts and direction to follow during our sessions, so that they are interacting with each other. I want your session to feel like YOU and who you are as a couple.

Read HERE about why I highly recommend an engagement shoot before your wedding.

General Questions

We feel so awkward in front of the camera!

I get this all the time. Most of the people I photograph aren't sure what to do in front of the camera. I understand that. The people you see smiling, laughing and having fun in my photos most likely told me they were camera shy too. It's my job to get you comfortable and relaxed. As long as you embrace the experience, I will do my job.

Of course you can! I love to meet couples before they book, as it gives them a pretty good idea of what I'm like and if we'd got on. I’m based between Derby and Nottingham, but if that's too far for you to travel, or you're just too busy, we can do what most couples do, and arrange a Zoom chat.

Can we see some weddings you've photographed?

Do you have insurance?

Yes, absolutely. I have both public liability and professional indemnity insurance. If your venue asks for proof of this, I can email a copy to your wedding co-ordinator.

Of course! This is a great way to get a feel for how I generally approach a wedding day from start to finish. Click HERE to go to the galleries page where you'll see some past weddings. You may find a wedding I've shot at your venue.

Pricing Questions

I'm planning a wedding abroad. Do you do these? How much?

I love destination weddings! I've been lucky enough to photograph weddings in France, Greece and Italy and happy to travel for weddings anywhere planes fly. Just get in touch with all the details and I will give you a detailed quote.

Absolutely! This is a great way of receiving the most valuable gift you will ever receive from a loved one, instead of yet another dining set! All you need to do is is let me know in advance and I will set it up in your online gallery, as a gift.

No idea how I’m going to choose some favourites to print!"
