I have over 15 years of wedding photography experience, and 30 years of photographing people. Over the years I have learned how to relax people and make them feel comfortable in front of the camera. Ultimately, to even forget the camera is even there. This is how I get all the candid looking images you see on my website and Instagram pages.

Hello, my name is Mamad.
I love to tell a wedding day story in a documentary style with a short editorial portrait sessions of bride and groom.
I graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in photography back in 1989 and haven't put my camera down since.
My wedding photography is a combination of relaxed and natural photojournalism, and a fashion based editorial style.
In the last 16 or so years, I have captured over 300 real weddings, and it gives me the greatest pleasure to create beautiful images for my couples.
All that said, what really matters is that you are having the best day of your life, and I am there to capture the moments for you.

The Process

Let's Meet
A Zoom consultation for you to get a feel for what it'll be like working with me. We'll chat about your dreams and visions, and how we can make it all work.
Lock It In

Once you and your partner have talked things through, you can accept the quote that I send you, pay the £350 deposit and sign a simple contract. Shortly after, that you will receive an email from me to confirm that I will be your wedding photographer!
Once you’re booked in I’ll start helping you with your day in any way I can whether that’s vendor recommendations or suggested timeline depending on your day!

The Details
One month before your wedding day, I send out a questionnaire so I know exactly what you want from your session. This way I can help you make your photos exactly how you dream they’ll be. Don’t worry, if you don’t have all the details when I send the form, you can access things at any time to update and add info as you get it.
If you have an engagement shoot scheduled in, that will be a very good opportunity to discuss the flow of the day and any changes to the plan as well.
The Wedding

This is YOUR day. The celebration of your marriage can be done whatever, whichever, however you want. Some value tradition, whilst others couldn’t care how formal the event is. The celebrant is all that’s needed to exchange rings, so the rest is yours to create.
Whatever you decide to do on the day, I’m there for it.
I like to stand back and capture fleeting moments as the event unfolds. I can jump back in and guide couples for best results if it’s needed. I’m the extra Bridesman or Groomsman you didn’t know you needed. Whether it’s sorting out ties, fixing a veil or watching the clock, I’ll be doing my best to make sure the two of you are having an awesome day.

If you have previously consented, after just a few days, I will post some images on my Instagram page for you to get excited about all the images that are coming your way.
You've Got Mail

I usually deliver a handful of images in the few days following your wedding, to give you something while you wait for your final gallery. It typically takes between 2 to 4 weeks for me to edit all your wedding photos. They will be delivered to you via a private online gallery that you can share with all your guests, and where you will be able to download your photos in low and high resolution, and also order prints.

Album Design
I offer a complimentary design service to clients who either have an album included in their package or have purchased one separately.
I will send you a mock design for approval before sending the final design off to the printers.
You also have the option to design you album yourself directly from your online gallery.

YOUR QUSTIONS ANSWERED
I'm based in between Nottingham and Derby in the East Midlands. This places me right in the middle of the UK, making travel to anywhere super convenient. There is even the East Midlands Airport 15 minutes away, so if you are planning a wedding abroad destination weddings are easy to organise too.
Where are you based?
You will receive your preview gallery and slideshow just a couple of days after your wedding. Your full photo gallery will take a further 2 weeks after that.
You do have an option to add a rushed service to your package and get them back in just 1 week.
How long will it take to receive our photos?
Definitely! I think the best thing to have in your lives is something tangible to hold and be able to show others. This can be a beautiful wedding album, or some fine art prints. Your gallery come with printing rights for personal use.
I do kindly ask - that if you are going to upload them to Social Media, please don't add any filters and please do mention us - It's always good to see which of the photos were most special to you.
Can I print my photos?
Of course I do. I have captured many same sex weddings over the years. Love is love and I capture all types of Love. I like to keep it authentic and real.
Do you do same sex weddings?
I like to meet with all my couples before their wedding. I like to get to know my couples and their plans for the day so if you’re interested in booking me I can arrange a FaceTime or Zoom call. If your wedding is over a year away I suggest organising at least two meetings.
Do we get to meet before the wedding?
It's a first-come, first serve basis, once the deposit is paid your wedding date is firmly secured. Once you book me, upon signing the contract, I just ask for a £350 booking deposit and the rest of the payment will be due a month before the wedding.
I usually only take on 20-25 wedding’s a year and we get booked up quickly, so do get in touch now even if your wedding seems far off.
